We have a recumbent seat from Rans called a Seavo. It is like it’s cousin, the Standard Seat Mesh but it comes apart at the junction between the back of the seat and the seat pan. Problem is, they didn’t design it with the same spacing so on the Seavo, I end up sitting on the back edge of the seat pan. So I printed this up:
Attached it to the frame thusly:
Notice the “hole” that allows the zip tie to wrap around the frame. Also note that the shim is sitting on the water bottle cage attachment tabs. The latter prevents the shim from rotating around the frame.
Resulting in the bottom of the seat mesh being pushed forward by a little over an inch to solve the problem:
